hi all and thank you for taking time to visit Sahana kitchen, I created this  page so I can start to do food blog and share recipes to everyone, so please do support the support my page by sharing with family and friends as I would love to create a website that can more than just a food site but connect many recipes and food news from around the world. I don’t know it just a small thought for now.

 A little introduction about myself, my name is Sahana I have a great passion to recreate and create new recipes that I want to share and provide. Over the years I have learnt how to cook and prepare classic south Indian dishes that I have been taught and passed down from my wonderful mother, aunt and friends.
I have grown to arbitrate the spices and herbs gone into creating the rich, diverse and countless varieties of curries and dishes from around the world.

I first started posting my cooking on Instagram, cooking is like a form of art for me, mixing the ingredients to create colourful dishes. I am so proud and feel like I want to share my outcome and love to hear feedback, keeps me motivated and encourages me to learn and develop my cooking skills.

My style of cooking is simple home cooking methods, I have learned to develop my cooking skills by continually trying out different recipes, I specialise in south Indian and Sri Lankan. I do tend to venture into baking and try other dishes.

To become a good cook, all you need are good ingredients, time and patience. If you are new to cooking Indian food, I encourage you to start easy and as your confidence builds, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. Any help let me know.
