Ingredient

  • 1kg chicken
  • 3 Tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 garam masala
  • 1 1/2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaf
  • Pinch of red food colour

Method

  1. Wash the chicken and then make slits on each leg.
  2. a bowl, mix the yogurt with rest of the ingredients.
  3. combine the chicken with mixture so each piece of chicken leg is completely coated with marinade.
  4. leave the marinate for at least 2 hrs - the longer better taste.
  5. when you are ready to cook, preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
  6. line a baking tray with foil and place the marinated chicken in a single layer and cover it with foil.
  7. place in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and drain excess juice before flipping over the chicken legs and covering with the foil again to cook for a further 15 minutes.
  9. remove the chicken from Oven let it cool down for 5 minutes, apply oil on the top of the chicken legs.
  10. serve it with salad and enjoy
